I am a self-taught artist from Malaysia, currently based in Geelong, Victoria. My still life paintings are deeply influenced by my multicultural upbringing in Penang, where I blend European painting techniques with various cultural influences. Through my artwork, I celebrate themes of culture, memory, and connection. My work has been exhibited in Malaysia, Australia, and Italy.

Behind The Work
As a self-taught artist, my work draws inspiration from cultural influences, memory, and the quiet stories embedded in everyday objects. Reflecting on my childhood in Penang, enriched by Malay, Indian, and Chinese cultural influences, I create still life paintings that feature collected objects, fruits, flowers, and plants from various cultures. This meditative process allows me to reconnect with my heritage while inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the beauty found in ordinary moments.
